Entry money will be collected on the day but please sign up so we know you're coming along!

 

Unfortunately if you do not bring entry money you will be unable to take part...

 

The race will be starting at 1pm but runners will need to be there by 12pm.

 

Also no under 16's will be allowed to take part in this race.

The winner will receive an engraved tanckered as well as having there name and time engraved on a resident perpetual trophy which resides in the Garway Moon Inn.  

 

Trophies and prizes are also available to second and third, first woman home and a special prize goes to the first runner to reach the summit of Garway hill and will also be titled the king of the hill.

 

The race record is held by Stuart Penny, with a time of 43 mins 49 s. This was set in 2009 in the first race.

 

The original race was slightly shorter so the above time may not be a fair goal to beat.

 

The winner of the last 2 race meetings has been a successful local runner by the name of Andrew Stevens with the current new course record of 45mins 45secs.
